[20:30] Why I built the UGC course
I want to talk about a kind of peace in business that I didn’t fully understand until it happened. For a long time, I ran a business model where my income depended on other people’s motivation, belief, and follow-through. And if you’ve ever been in anything even close to that, you already know how heavy it gets.
Today, my work looks totally different. My income is tied to my effort, my deliverables, my skill, and my execution. And there’s something insanely peaceful about that.
The Shift: Skill-Based Income (UGC + Amazon) and Why It’s Peaceful
My income is tied to my work now
When I wake up in the morning today, my income is tied to something much simpler.
- It’s tied to my effort, my deliverables, my skill, and my execution.
- If I want to make more money, I create more content.
- If I want to scale, I build better systems.
- If I need a few days off because I’m sick or life happens, my schedule adjusts.
And here’s the key: my income isn’t crashing because someone changed their mind mid-month.
This is the “time freedom” they promised you
I’m going to say something that might ruffle feathers, but I’m not here for rose-colored glasses:
- I have more true flexibility now as a UGC creator and Amazon influencer than I ever had in network marketing.
- Because today, I’m not tethered to my phone trying to keep a team motivated.
- I can have a day off and still know I have $1,000 worth of UGC jobs to complete in the next few days.
That’s a very different kind of freedom.
Why I built my UGC course
I dove into UGC literally less than two weeks before my second baby was born. I know. I’m a little unhinged. But I also saw the writing on the wall with Beachbody and knew the closure was coming.
UGC became one of the clearest examples of skill-based income I’ve experienced:
- You create the content.
- You deliver the work.
- You get paid for the value you produce.
- Your income grows as your skill grows.
That is exactly why I built my UGC course. Because there are so many talented, capable people who are willing to work and execute. They just don’t want their income tied to convincing other people to do the same.

The UGC Income Blueprint
Time to Take Action
- Audit your current income streams and label them: people-based or skill-based.
- Identify the one variable you can control the most: deliverables, skill, systems, or execution.
- If you’re building online income, choose one craft to improve for the next 30 days and track output weekly.
- If you’re feeling that “tethered” energy, ask yourself: What would change if my income depended on my work, not other people’s decisions?
Bottom Line: You don’t need more hype. You need income streams you control.
